Could’ve stayed on stage all night. Watch AEYSA live in Viking armor, plus her debut album with Dagr Rís to My Mother Told Me – Collector’s Edition sold out.
That’s what AEYSA wrote after her latest live show, and we totally get it.
The Oslo-born Viking singer just proved why her Collector’s Edition CD sold out in days — she doesn’t just sing Viking music, she lives it.
Who is AEYSA? Real or AI?
This is the question everyone asks. Here is the official answer from aeysa.com:
AEYSA is a real music project. Viking music from Aeysa, a singer and songwriter from Oslo, Norway, with officially released songs, music videos, and a CD edition.
Aeysa herself is a virtual artist, brought to life with human creative direction and AI-generated audio and imagery.
Her name comes from the Old Norse æsa / œsa — to stir, to rouse, to awaken into force. A word used of fire stirred by wind, waters rising, storms gathering strength.
To stir what lies dormant.
From Dagr Rís to My Mother Told Me
Her debut album is a journey. From the first light of Dagr Rís (Day Rises) to the closing words of My Mother Told Me.
It includes 10 songs on streaming, and 11 on the CD and download edition including the single Valkyrja.
Other tracks you need to hear: Ek Geng Fram (A journey from moonlight into morning), FRJÁLS (Let go of fear. Move towards freedom), and Flóð Rís (Strength in the rhythm of the rising sea).
The Collector’s Edition is officially sold out. Limited Edition CDs are still available at aeysa.com/shop.
Old words. New music. Something ancient awakened.
